The last time Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels<\/a> faced the Eagles, it was in the NFC Championship Game last January in Philadelphia \u2014 and Washington walked away with a 55-23 loss. <\/a><\/p>\n

Daniels, now two seasons into his NFL career, has lost both of his starts against the Eagles in Philadelphia. He also missed both matchups against them this past season due to injury.<\/p>\n

With the 2025 season over, Daniels is eager to get back on the field, especially for his next game against the Eagles.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love Eagles fans,\u201d Daniels told Sports Illustrated. <\/a>\u201cThey just embody what Philly brings. To be able to go out there and play against them, it\u2019s kind of just that thing. Their environment is kind of like the closest thing you can get to a college environment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Daniels played at LSU, which has one of the best fanbases in college football. Washington, meanwhile, has one of the league\u2019s worst home environments and stadiums.<\/p>\n

The Commanders will look to rebound from a 5-12 record next season and could get back into playoff contention if their star quarterback stays healthy.
