{"id":763657,"date":"2026-02-20T02:58:18","date_gmt":"2026-02-20T02:58:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/763657\/"},"modified":"2026-02-20T02:58:18","modified_gmt":"2026-02-20T02:58:18","slug":"report-colts-reportedly-lose-defensive-coaching-staff-member-to-cardinals-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/763657\/","title":{"rendered":"Report: Colts reportedly lose defensive coaching staff member to Cardinals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">According to CBS Sports Matt Zenitz, Indianapolis Colts defensive quality control coach Brent Jackson is set to join the Arizona Cardinals coaching staff under their new head coach Mike LaFleur:<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/mzenitz\/status\/1508102735111012357?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow\">Having joined the Colts in May of 2022<\/a>, Jackson just finished his 4th season as Indianapolis\u2019 defensive quality control\u2014after previously working as a graduate assistant with defensive backs on the University of Oregon\u2019s coaching staff.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">He earned the Tony Dungy Diversity Coaching Fellowship thereafter and got his initial start in Indy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Jackson was retained following the transition from former defensive coordinator Gus Bradley to veteran defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo ahead of last offseason.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">There\u2019s been largely minor coaching turnover in Indianapolis, as the biggest change has been made at defensive line coach, where Charlie Partridge returned to the college ranks, and Marion Hobby was recently named his replacement.
