The Arizona Cardinals<\/a> are adding a new coach to their defensive staff. According to CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz<\/a>, they are hiring Rod Wilson to be their new inside linebackers coach.<\/p>\n

Wilson has been coaching since 2013 after playing defensive back in the NFL from 2006-2010.<\/p>\n

Rod Wilson coaching career<\/p>\n

He began coaching in 2013 in college. His pro coaching jobs have all been with the Kansas City Chiefs.<\/p>\n

2013-2016: Inside linebackers coach, Charleston Southern<\/p>\n

2017-2019: Assistant special teams coach, Kansas City Chiefs<\/p>\n

2020: Linebackers coach, South Carolina<\/p>\n

2021: Inside linebackers coach, Coastal Carolina<\/p>\n

2022-2023: Defensive assistant, Kansas City Chiefs<\/p>\n

2024-2025: Outside linebackers coach, Kansas City Chiefs<\/p>\n

This will be Wilson’s first NFL coaching job not under Andy Reid.<\/p>\n
