Bill Kostroun\/New York Post<\/p>\n<p>Justin Fields is expected to be released by the Jets later this offseason, leaving the team to fill the role elsewhere, perhaps with a veteran like <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/02\/16\/sports\/tua-tagovailoa-could-be-next-to-go-as-dolphins-make-huge-changes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Tua Tagovailoa<\/a> or Kyler Murray\u00a0\u2013 both of whom will likely be looking for new homes.<\/p>\n<p>In theory, those two quarterbacks will raise the Jets\u2019 floor, considering Fields was completely ineffective last season.<\/p>\n<p>Betting on the NFL? <\/p>\n<p>The two New York teams combined for just seven wins in 2025, so the renewed optimism for football in the Empire State is a welcome sign for those hoping for improvement this coming season.<\/p>\n<p>The Jets have the worst record in the NFL since 2020, going 28-73, while the Giants are right behind them with a 32-68-1 record in that span.<\/p>\n<p>Why Trust New York Post Betting<\/p>\n<p>Erich Richter is a brazilian jiu-jitsu blue belt but he has a black belt in MMA betting.
