The Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> announced on Friday that they re-signed free agent cornerback Keith Taylor<\/a>.<\/p>\n Taylor was a restricted free agent<\/a> this offseason.<\/p>\n The Jaguars<\/a> brought Taylor in late in the season to bolster the cornerback depth after Jourdan Lewis was placed on injured reserve.<\/p>\n Taylor was a fifth-round draft pick in 2021 by the\u00a0Carolina Panthers<\/a>. Over his career, Taylor has appeared in\u00a047 games<\/a>\u00a0and made five starts. He most recently played with Atlanta.<\/p>\n Taylor has played 970 defensive snaps, over 800 of which came during the 2021 and 2022 seasons.<\/p>\n Expert NFL picks: Exclusive betting insights only at USA TODAY.<\/a><\/p>\n Over his career, he has totaled 77 tackles, allowed a completion rate of\u00a074% on 84 targets<\/a>\u00a0at 14.1 yards per catch with four pass breakups.<\/p>\n Taylor has played 529 special teams snaps as well.<\/p>\n Taylor did not appear on defense with the Jaguars, but played three special teams snaps in the AFC wildcard round matchup with Buffalo.<\/p>\n Earlier in the week, the Jaguars also announced that they re-signed<\/a> DeeJay Dallas and Matt Dickerson.<\/p>\n Cornerback is a position that the Jaguars will have to further address<\/a> this offseason with Greg Newsome and Montaric Brown both unrestricted free agents.
