The Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> always seem to find themselves in controversy, even when things are going well.<\/p>\n

Star wide receiver A.J. Brown made headlines during Philadelphia\u2019s Super Bowl<\/a> run a year ago when he publicly criticized the passing offense and was spotted reading a book on the sideline during the Eagles<\/a>‘ wild-card playoff win.<\/p>\n

Many people assumed his comments were a shot at quarterback Jalen Hurts<\/a>, but a championship was enough to smooth over any hard feelings.<\/p>\n

However, the issue resurfaced this past season, and it ramped up after Brown had fewer than 200 total receiving yards through the Eagles\u2019 first five games.<\/p>\n

The former All-Pro wideout caused commotion throughout the season, with frequent comments to the media about his lack of involvement in the offense and cryptic social media posts.<\/p>\n

Brown\u2019s frustrations have led some to believe that he will split with the Eagles this offseason.<\/p>\n

ESPN reporter Bill Barnwell created 11 different trade scenarios<\/a> in a recent article, and one had the star pass-catcher heading to the Denver Broncos<\/a> along with a fifth-round pick in this year\u2019s NFL<\/a> Draft.<\/p>\n

In this trade, Philadelphia would receive cornerback Riley Moss, a second-round pick and a fifth-round pick.<\/p>\n

This would be a win for both sides on paper, as it would open up some money for the Eagles to eventually pay some of the elite, young talent they have on defense as well as solidifying their No. 2 cornerback spot. However, the trade would be problematic for the Eagles from a salary cap standpoint because it would create a $43.4 million dead-money hit.<\/p>\n

For the Broncos, it would give them a bona fide go-to option in the passing game with one of the best deep threats in the NFL.<\/p>\n

If the Eagles decide to ship Brown out, they would be hard-pressed to find another deal with better value than this.<\/p>\n
