Whether it’s free agency, the 2026 NFL Draft, or an exciting trade<\/a>, the Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> need to upgrade their wide receiver position this offseason. And one insider had an exciting idea for the Steel City brand of football.<\/p>\n On Friday, insider Mark Kaboly discussed the idea of Pittsburgh trading for Miami Dolphins<\/a> wide receiver Jaylen Waddle<\/a>, who was previously linked to the Steelers<\/a> at last year’s trade deadline.<\/p>\n \u201cThe one who\u2019s very interesting to me, and I know he\u2019s not on the block, but a lot of things are happening in Miami right now, is Waddle,\u201d Kaboly said via 93.7 The Fan<\/a>. \u201cBecause they were definitely interested in him last year at the deadline. Depending on who you believe, Miami pulled out at the last second, or they would have at least had an opportunity to acquire him.\u201d<\/p>\n Selected by Miami with the 6th overall pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Waddle has recorded 373 receptions for 5,039 yards and 26 touchdowns in his first five seasons in the league, becoming a staple of the Dolphins offense.
