In Bleacher Report’s latest offseason trade proposals<\/a>, the New York Giants<\/a> are encouraged to pursue Baltimore Ravens<\/a> cornerback Marlon Humphrey to bolster their secondary under new head coach John Harbaugh.<\/p>\n

The suggested deal is low-risk for New York.<\/p>\n

Giants Receive:\u00a0CB Marlon Humphrey<\/p>\n

Ravens Receive:\u00a02026 fourth-round pick (No. 105), 2026 sixth-round pick (No. 191)<\/p>\n

John Harbaugh takes over a roster that is mostly defined by its young, exciting talent in 2026. The former Ravens boss is going to go from a veteran-laden team to a franchise that is looking to build around Jaxon Dart.<\/p>\n

The secondary is a specific unit that could use some veteran leadership. Cordale Flott, Paulson Adebo and Andru Phillips were the mainstays at cornerback this season. None are exactly foundational pieces moving forward.<\/p>\n

Humphrey might be on the tail end of his peak. He’s 29 and his 2025 campaign didn’t live up to his All-Pro 2024 season.<\/p>\n

However, his versatility as someone who can play in the slot and outside along with his experience with Harbaugh could make him a strong addition to New York’s secondary.<\/p>\n

At this point, the Ravens can’t ask for too much in a trade because they are getting a significant amount of cap space from dealing a veteran who might be on his last legs.<\/p>\n

The Giants desperately need cornerback upgrades after a disappointing secondary performance. With no third- or seventh-round picks available in 2026, surrendering a fourth- and sixth-rounder represents a premium but manageable cost\u2014especially since they hold two other sixth-round selections to offset the outgoing pick.<\/p>\n

Humphrey, a former All-Pro with multi-positional flexibility, would bring immediate experience and reunite with Harbaugh, potentially stabilizing a young group.<\/p>\n

The B\/R article also floats other Giants moves, like trading nose tackle Dexter Lawrence to the Cincinnati Bengals for a 2026 second-round pick (No. 41) and 2027 fifth-rounder, and sending underperforming cornerback Deonte Banks to the Green Bay Packers for a 2026 sixth-round pick (No. 200).<\/p>\n
