One of the top potential free agent options for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2026 offseason wants to run it back with his previous squad.<\/p>\n

Seattle Seahawks free agent-to-be wide receiver Rashid Shaheed<\/a> said during an appearance on NFL Network this week that he wants to reunite with the Super Bowl LX<\/a> champions.<\/p>\n

\u201cAbsolutely, absolutely, yeah,\u201d Shaheed said<\/a>, via Pro Football Talk. \u201cConversations are definitely going to be heating up towards March. But you know, I would love to come back. I loved my experience here, I\u2019m loving the Pacific Northwest, and obviously the organization is second to none. I kind of want to run it back. We just won the Super Bowl, so, you know, why not?\u201d<\/p>\n

Shaheed joined the Seahawks in a trade deadline swap from the New Orleans Saints,<\/a> and make a big impact after joining Seattle.<\/p>\n

In nine regular-season games, he caught 15 passes for 188 yards, and he added three catches for 78 yards in Seattle\u2019s three playoff games. He also returned a kickoff for a touchdown in the Seahawks\u2019 playoff win over the San Francisco 49ers.<\/p>\n

Seattle has several important pending free agents, including Shaheed, Super Bowl MVP running back Kenneth Walker III and defensive backs Coby Bryant, Josh Jobe and Riq Woolen.<\/p>\n

Shaheed is one of the top available free agents that are currently set to hit the market. Spotrac<\/a> currently ranks his market value as $14.1 million per season, which is the seventh-highest behind George Pickens<\/a>, Jauan Jennings, Alec Pierce, Wan\u2019dale Robinson, Deebo Samuel and Tyreek Hill.<\/p>\n

The Steelers have a massive need at the wide receiver position, with just three players under contract from last year\u2019s team: DK Metcalf<\/a>, Pro Bowl special teamer Ben Skowronek<\/a> and former third-round draft pick Roman Wilson<\/a>, who finished the 2025 season with 12 catches and was a healthy scratch for most of the stretch run.<\/p>\n
