Taylor, now 27 years old, began his NFL career in Carolina.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>The Panthers <a href=\"https:\/\/pantherswire.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/nfl\/panthers\/2021\/05\/01\/panthers-pick-keith-taylor-2021-nfl-draft\/80069034007\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:selected;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">selected<\/a> Taylor, a University of Washington product, in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-3 defensive back went on to start in five of his 34 games for the team through 2022\u2014amassing 67 combined tackles, six passes defensed and two fumble recoveries.<\/p>\n<p>Carolina waived Taylor ahead of his third pro campaign, during final roster cuts for the 2023 regular season.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor would land with the Kansas City Chiefs a few days later. He&#8217;d stick on as a member of the Super Bowl LVIII team and go on to appear in 11 games for the Chiefs in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>His most recent in-game action came in Week 10 of this past season, with the Atlanta Falcons.
