Marks is focused on continuing his development and helping the team be more successful.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think I did decent,\u201d Marks said, via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.click2houston.com\/sports\/2026\/02\/17\/texans-woody-marks-reflects-on-rookie-year-team-outlook-i-did-decent-well-be-back-and-well-be-better\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Aaron Wilson.<\/a> \u201cJust next year, just try to be better, better my craft. There\u2019s always room for improvement and just be the best version I can and be the best version of my last name. I just want to get better at everything. Just get smarter at the game. I really don\u2019t have no goals. I just want to win. I want to get to the Super Bowl and win the Super Bowl, so my goals come with team success.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Marks said that the game eventually slowed down for him as he got more playing time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe speed was very fast at first, then it slowed down,\u201d Marks said. \u201cYou kind of can see my main steps during the season, but I didn\u2019t make a lot of steps in the secondary. I think I got complete hands coming out the backfield. It kind of separated me. Most guys didn\u2019t think I could pass block, but I showed that a lot. Actually, made a big hit that last game against the Patriots.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As for reaching the Divisional Round, Marks called it \u201churtful\u201d not to reach the Super Bowl.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was real hurtful to go out like that,\u201d Marks said. \u201cWhatever success I had, it wasn\u2019t a success. We didn\u2019t finish the game. We didn\u2019t go to the Super Bowl.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gus Bradley was hired as the Titans\u2019 new defensive coordinator following his time as the 49ers\u2019 assistant head coach, where he served alongside Tennessee\u2019s new HC Robert Saleh. Bradley said that Saleh is bringing an even better understanding of his vision following his time as the Jets\u2019 head coach.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne thing you\u2019ll find out about Robert, he\u2019s pretty in tune to his vision,\u201d Bradley said, via <a href=\"https:\/\/titanswire.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/nfl\/titans\/2026\/02\/19\/tennessee-titans-gus-bradley-lauds-robert-saleh\/88744788007\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">TitansWire<\/a>. \u201cHe has a pretty good idea, especially now, the experience he\u2019s had, what it needs to look like, what we need to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bradley praised Saleh\u2019s presence as a leader and set standards.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s always been a guy that I look at, and I said, one of the better leaders create the standard and the pace of the organization. And that\u2019s what he did in San Francisco, that\u2019s wherever he\u2019s been, so I anticipate no different here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Titans DT <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SweaTV01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-02-21_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">T\u2019Vondre Sweat<\/a> didn\u2019t make a huge improvement in his second season, appearing in 12 games for 34 tackles, four tackles for loss, and two sacks. Tennessee\u2019s new DC Gus Bradley said they want to build on Sweat\u2019s progress in 2026: \u201cI\u2019ve always believed that when you come into a new situation, the previous staff has done a good job. Our job is to build on that and give guys a fresh start and base your opinion off that.\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/terrymc13\/status\/2024184602063946025\" rel=\"nofollow\">Terry McCormick<\/a>)<br \/>\nAs for their cornerback position, Bradley said they are directing their scouts on the type of player they are looking for: \u201cWe will show the scouts film of the types of players and skills we are looking for and go out and try to find those types of guys.\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/terrymc13\/status\/2024185377087422613\" rel=\"nofollow\">McCormick<\/a>)<br \/>\nRegarding his decision to sign with the Titans, Bradley said he has a good relationship with HC Robert Saleh and wanted to be somewhere where he\u2019s valued. (<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/jwyattsports\/status\/2024185473891962970\" rel=\"nofollow\">Jim Wyatt<\/a>)<br \/>\nTitans\u2019 new OC Brian Daboll said he wants to make a system that QB <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/W\/WardCa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-02-21_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Cam Ward<\/a> is comfortable with: \u201cWe will do a lot of what he is comfortable with.\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/terrymc13\/status\/2024189596003660198\" rel=\"nofollow\">McCormick<\/a>)<br \/>\nWhen asked about Ward\u2019s mechanics, Daboll responded: \u201cI feel comfortable with Cam and his ability to throw the football. I\u2019m excited to work with him.\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/terrymc13\/status\/2024189960409006255\" rel=\"nofollow\">McCormick<\/a>)<br \/>\nDaboll also thinks Ward has got \u201cmoxie\u201d as a quarterback: \u201cI think he\u2019s got some moxie to him. He\u2019s tough and he holds himself to a high standard.\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/terrymc13\/status\/2024190855112700058\" rel=\"nofollow\">McCormick<\/a>)<br \/>\nDaboll thinks they have capable receivers in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/A\/AyomEl00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-02-21_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Elic Ayomanor<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/D\/DikeCh00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-02-21_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Chimere Dike<\/a>, good running backs in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SpeaTy00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-02-21_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Tyjae Spears<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/P\/PollTo00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-02-21_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Tony Pollard<\/a>, and a strong tackle in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/L\/LathJC00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-02-21_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">JC Latham<\/a>: \u201cIt\u2019s a youthful roster for the most part. They\u2019ve got two receivers that are tough and play the game the right way. Spears and Pollard are guys who get yards. I like JC (Latham).\u201d (<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/terrymc13\/status\/2024192135407231036\" rel=\"nofollow\">McCormick<\/a>)<br \/>\nDaboll is looking forward to working with WR <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/R\/RidlCa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-02-21_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Calvin Ridley<\/a>: \u201cI\u2019m not going to answer roster questions. I do know Rid.
