Raiders DE Maxx Crosby<\/a>, who has been the topic of trade speculation this offseason, showed his respect and admiration for Bears QB Caleb Williams<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust to be open and honest, bro, like we talked about earlier, but respect at a different level, bro,\u201d Crosby said, via PFT<\/a>. \u201cYou\u2019re one of those guys, for sure, and you\u2019re just getting started. I don\u2019t even know you understand yet how good you can be, and that\u2019s the scariest part. You know what I mean? Just keep that mindset, keep doing what you\u2019re doing. You know we\u2019re locked in forever. So keep doing your thing, bro. You need me, hit me at any time. It goes vice versa.\u201d<\/p>\n

ESPN\u2019s Courtney Cronin<\/a> went on SportsCenter and discussed potential cap casualties for the Bears this upcoming offseason. Cronin says LB Tremaine Edmunds<\/a> is a name to watch due to his scheduled cap hit of $17.4 million in 2026.\u00a0
\nCronin also brings up TE Cole Kmet<\/a>, but says he\u2019s a bit less likely because of the offense\u2019s usage of two tight end sets.
\nShe also named RB D\u2019Andre Swift<\/a> because of the $8.8 million Chicago could save if they release him.\u00a0
\nCronin then discussed Bears WR D.J. Moore<\/a>, as he\u2019s set to have the team\u2019s highest cap hit in 2026.
\nShe thinks the logistics of a trade could be tough since Moore\u2019s 2026 salary is already guaranteed, but admits the team might need to explore moves at that position because of how many playmakers they have at the top of the room.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Matt Zenitz<\/a> reports that Vikings assistant OC Jordan Traylor is expected to stay on Minnesota\u2019s coaching staff after being \u201chighly sought after by other teams.\u201d
\nThe Vikings have hired Kyle Caskey as an offensive assistant. Caskey had been slated to be offensive coordinator of the UFL\u2019s Orlando Storm this season and had previously been the RB\/special teams coach for the St. Louis Battlehawks. (Kevin Seifert<\/a>)<\/p>\n
