But even still, the Eagles might use their first-round or second-round pick to target Johnson’s successor.

Here are five offensive tackles who Howie Roseman and the Eagles will be watching at next week’s NFL Combine.

Kadyn Proctor, Alabama: Proctor has been landing with the Eagles in plenty of mock drafts, including our most recent projections. Stoutland might be gone, but the Eagles’ approach to look for unusual traits in offensive linemen is unlikely to change. The 6-foot-7, 360-pounder has the size to swallow defensive linemen. His technique is inconsistent. But with some molding, Proctor has the raw talent to become a superstar tackle for years to come.

Blake Miller, Clemson: Miller is a polarizing prospect. ESPN has him ranked as the No. 69 player in the class while NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah projected Miller to land with the Eagles at No. 23 of his most recent mock draft. The 6-foot-6, 315-pounder certainly has the traits (fluidity, lateral quickness) and experience (54 career starts) to warrant consideration.

Monroe Freeling, Georgia: From one tackle with a ton of experience to one with relatively little, Freeling would be an intriguing project. The 21-year-old has only 16 career starts. But he has rare length and the frame to add more weight. With Johnson coming back for at least a year, Freeling would have time to develop his technique.

Max Iheanachor, Arizona State: Iheanachor didn’t come out of nowhere to those who were paying attention to the Big 12. But his stellar Senior Bowl turned him into a household name for those interested in the draft. The 6-foot-6, 330-pounder’s body control and footwork were especially good in Mobile. He’s mostly considered an early Day 2 prospect, but a standout performance at the Combine could launch Iheanachor into the first-round convo.

Caleb Tiernan, Northwestern: Tiernan might make Combine headlines for his short arms. But he has everything else you’d want in a future starter at tackle. Tiernan finished his career with 43 consecutive starts, and he used his 6-foot-7 frame to great effect in pass protection. Tiernan is currently viewed as a second-rounder. We’ll see where he stands after a week in Indy.

Even with Lane Johnson coming back for the 2026 season, the Philadelphia Eagles will be scouting offensive tackles…

[2068
405,25,102076,102077,2034,7,48,6,242,109,2476,326,9
0":"post-768617","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-philadelphia-eagles","8":"tag-alabama-football","9":"tag-eagles","10":"tag-eastern-illinois","11":"tag-eiu","12":"tag-fbc","13":"tag-football","14":"tag-ncaa-football","15":"tag-nfl","16":"tag-philadelphia","17":"tag-philadelphia-eagles","18":"tag-philadelphiaeagles","19":"tag-sec","20":"tag-sports
["GET
