Stroud with more weapons next season.

To that effect, perhaps the Texans could look to a recently-released All-Pro pass-catcher.

Texans named top landing spot for Tyreek Hill

Moe Moton of Bleacher Report recently listed the Texans as a top potential landing spot for Hill, citing the fact that the organization brought in Stefon Diggs in a similar situation a couple of years back.

“Texans general manager Nick Caserio isn’t shy about making an aggressive move for an outspoken receiver. In 2024, Houston acquired Stefon Diggs, a 2024 sixth-rounder and a 2025 fifth-rounder in exchange for a 2025 second-rounder,” Moton wrote.

“Diggs only played a half-season with the Texans because of a torn ACL, but the team’s willingness to surround Stroud with veteran receiver talent suggests that Hill could be on its radar.”

Nico Collins is the unquestioned top receiver in Houston, but the Texans could use some additional threats around him. Tank Dell missed the entire 2025 season due to a knee injury, and Christian Kirk is headed for free agency.

If added, Hill could fit in nicely across from Collins and help to open the field up for both Collins and Stroud.

Hill is just two years removed from a season in which he had 1,799 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns. He’s probably not quite that player anymore, but he should still have some juice to offer a team.

The Texans aren’t expected to have a ton of cap space over the offseason, so getting a deal done with Hill could prove difficult, but it’s something that the team could kick the tires on, at least.

More NFL news:

Houston Texans named top landing spot for recently-released All-Pro originally appeared on The Sporting News.
