Baltimore Ravens<\/a> tight end Isaiah Likely is preparing for every scenario this offseason as an impending free agent.<\/p>\n

With the Ravens signing fellow tight end Mark Andrews to a multi-year deal in 2025, some thought the move was a little odd, given that Likely was older and seemed to have more upside than the veteran.<\/p>\n

But due to that move, it is not likely Baltimore will look to extend Isaiah, something that might not sit too well with the fan base.<\/p>\n

However, Likely, in an interview with Jon Gruden, offered his love for Baltimore, but then used three words that Ravens fans might not like.<\/p>\n

“I love Baltimore. They took the chance on me when all 31 didn’t,” Likely said via\u00a0Gruden Goes Long<\/a>. “At the end of the day, I tell everybody Baltimore is home for me. But business is business, so I’m really just seeing what’s going to happen.”<\/p>\n

Business is business hints at Likely moving on?<\/p>\n

It certainly does, but it also hints that Likely is likely to go after what he feels is market value for his services.<\/p>\n

Spotrac.com has his market value at $8.8 million APY, and we think the Ravens, after paying Andrews, won’t want that sort of money tied up in two tight ends.<\/p>\n

That means that Likely will probably look elsewhere, one for more money, and two, for the opportunity to be a starter. Because we can be fairly certain that Likely won’t get either of those in Baltimore.<\/p>\n

Who knows, he might stay on a reduced contract, but based on his words, it doesn’t appear Likely’s career won’t continue in Baltimore.<\/p>\n
