Rondale Moore, the former Arizona Cardinals<\/a> receiver, died on Saturday, Feb. 21 in his hometown of New Albany, Indiana, according to multiple reports. Moore was 25 years old.<\/p>\n

According to WLKY News, Moore’s death was confirmed by the coroner in Floyd County, Indiana, where he was born and raised.<\/p>\n

The Louisville Courier Journal included this in their report:<\/p>\n

“Matthew Tomlin, Floyd County (Indiana) coroner, confirmed Moore\u2019s death … (and) said the cause of death is under investigation and an autopsy will be performed Sunday. … Tomlin said Moore was transferred to Baptist Floyd Hospital in New Albany and died there. … Tomlin said the cause of death is under investigation and an autopsy will be performed Sunday.”<\/p>\n

The Cardinals released a statement on X Saturday.<\/p>\n
