Despite coming close in recent years, the Buffalo Bills<\/a> have been unable to get over the hump and win the Big Game.<\/p>\n

Perhaps they\u2019ll bring in a player with a Super Bowl ring to his name to help them get there.<\/p>\n

Bills named best landing spot for Nakobe Dean<\/p>\n

The Bills were recently\u00a0named the best potential landing spot<\/a>\u00a0for free agent linebacker Nakobe Dean by Mason Cameron of Pro Football Focus.<\/p>\n

Dean played the first four years of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> and he was a key cog on defense for Philadelphia’s Super Bowl champion team in 2024, though he was injured for much of the playoff run.<\/p>\n

He’s a versatile linebacker capable of applying pressuring on opposing quarterbacks and stopping the run. He can also be effective in pass defense. As such, he would make a nice addition in Buffalo.<\/p>\n

“After battling through a patellar tendon injury late in 2024 that cut short a breakout season, Dean returned to the field and continued to perform at a high level. The addition would give the Bills a plus run defender they\u2019re in desperate need of, evidenced by Dean\u2019s 96th-percentile run-stop percentage (10.3%) over the past two seasons,” Cameron wrote.<\/p>\n

“Dean would give new defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard a chess piece to amplify his aggressive, blitz-heavy scheme after posting the second-highest PFF pass-rush grade among linebackers since 2024.”<\/p>\n

Dean has previously expressed a desire<\/a> to remain with the Eagles, but it remains to be seen if retaining him will be a priority for Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

The Eagles drafted\u00a0Jihaad Campbell in the first round of the draft last year and he flashed some legitimate potential as a rookie. His presence on the roster could potentially lead to the Eagles allowing Dean to walk.<\/p>\n

If that happens, a team like the Bills could swoop in and sign him.<\/p>\n
