Tony Pauline of Essentially Sports<\/a> had this to say in a column he published on Sunday.<\/p>\n\u201cThe Miami Dolphins\u2019 immediate plans for the future of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa could be publicly announced before the end of the Combine. No one expects Tagovailoa to be back with the franchise. A member of the quarterback\u2019s team even told me that the 2020 first-round pick won\u2019t be with the Dolphins come Week 1 of the 2026 season.\u201d<\/p>\n
Pauline goes on to say that new head coach Jeff Hafley would prefer to sign Green Bay Packers backup quarterback, Malik Willis, this offseason, but that Miami\u2019s lack of cap space could make it difficult.<\/p>\n
\u201cPeople I\u2019ve spoken with believe Willis ends up with the Arizona Cardinals, as they are expected to cut ties with Kyler Murray.\u201d<\/p>\n
If the Dolphins do indeed part ways with Tagovailoa, but swing and miss on a signing of Willis, what would their quarterback plans be for the 2026 NFL season and beyond?<\/p>\n
