The football life cycle now has everyone fixated on the NFL Draft, and with that comes the rite of passage known as the NFL Combine. While Notre Dame is sending its fair share of players to the combine, the big question is what these guys will choose to do once they get to Indianapolis.<\/p>\n
There has been a growing trend over the last few years of marquee (and not) opting out of some or all of the events. A lot of players have opted to do things like throwing and running the 40 yard dash during their respective pro days.<\/p>\n

Jeremiyah Love<\/p>\n
But\u2026 it looks like Jeremiyah Love is up to the challenge of the combine.<\/p>\n
Most mock drafts have Love gone before the #10 pick, but I suppose if he runs like a 4.31 40 yard dash, he may be too tempting to pass up for some of the other teams in the top ten. So you have to wonder\u2026 why is Love doing this? A lot of those top 10 teams in the first round are either a dumpster fire or a dumpster waiting to be set on fire.<\/p>\n
Jadarian Price<\/p>\n
Notre Dame\u2019s \u201cother\u201d running back has been projected to be an early 2nd round draft pick with some believing he could be picked at the end of the first round. Over the last month, Price has received plenty of praise for his skills on the gridiron as his clips jump off the screen with an incredible mix of speed, vision, balance, and power. He has a lot to gain at the combine \u2014 so he\u2019s all in as well.<\/p>\n
Malachi Fields<\/p>\n
It\u2019s been well known that Fields has shot up draft boards since his impressive display down at the Senior Bowl, but when does he get picked? Daniel Jeremiah had Fields going in the first round in a recent mock draft, but I\u2019m not sure if that\u2019s what\u2019s going to happen.<\/p>\n
To be fair, Jeremiah has Fields ranked as the 44th overall prospect in the draft (Jeremiyah Love #2 and Jadarian Price #43).<\/p>\n
Carson Towt<\/p>\n
Yes \u2014 you heard that right. Notre Dame forward, Carson Towt, will attempt to become an NFL player in March after the Fighting Irish basketball season is over. This definitely feels like a \u201csummer camp invite\u201d but it\u2019s all very intriguing regardless of where he may end up at the next level (if at all).<\/p>\n
