Raiders star DE Maxx Crosby<\/a> has been in trade rumors this offseason as it\u2019s uncertain whether he\u2019s content remaining in Las Vegas. Detroit DE Aidan Hutchinson<\/a> called it a \u201cdream scenario\u201d to play across from someone like Crosby, but understands the challenge presented by the business aspect of it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe idea of it is incredibly promising,\u201d Hutchinson said, via DJ Siddiqi<\/a>. \u201cThat sounds like a dream scenario to be playing alongside a beast like that. I was answering the same questions last year about Myles Garrett<\/a>, so I don\u2019t know the reality of this situation and how real this actually is, especially given our GM \u2014 if you listen to him talk a little bit about edge rushers, I don\u2019t know. It doesn\u2019t sound like it\u2019d be something they pursue.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut you never know what they do. There\u2019s also the money and cash situation. I know we got a lot of young, promising talent on our team that they\u2019re going to pay this offseason. I\u2019m just happy I am not involved in that, because all that stuff goes a little over my head. I just want to play ball.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Detroit Lions announced<\/a> that Team President and CEO Rod Wood\u00a0has elected to retire.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs<\/a> is unhappy with the way the season ended for his team and believes that he still has more to improve on, noting that the offseason is a time to fix their mistakes.<\/p>\n

\u201cDisappointing for sure,\u201d Gibbs said of the season, via Eric Woodyard<\/a>. \u201cWe always have hopes to make it to the Super Bowl, and if not that, at least make the playoffs, and we didn\u2019t get either.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNah. I don\u2019t think so,\u201d Gibbs replied when asked if he played his best. \u201cMe personally, I could\u2019ve done a lot of stuff throughout the year to get us out of some holes\u2026I think it could be a good thing. That\u2019s how I look at it as a positive. You learn from it. Learn as much as we can and fix mistakes going forward.\u201d<\/p>\n
