In an appearance with One Bills Live, president of football operations\/general manager Brandon Beane took time to discuss a variety of topics with co-hosts Chris Brown and Steve Tasker. Among a few rather interesting nuggets was the news that starting right tackle Spencer Brown has agreed to a restructured contract with One Bills Drive.<\/p>\n

Beane mentioned that the team had just \u201csent it in yesterday,\u201d regarding Brown\u2019s restructured paperwork, and that the team will \u201cget some money back\u201d to use in free agency and elsewhere for the 2026 NFL season.<\/p>\n

Depending on if all bonus conversions were leveraged by Beane and company, Brown\u2019s restructured contract could free up anywhere between $6 million and $10 million dollars. In looking at Brown\u2019s contract numbers from Spotrac<\/a>, leveraging all their options here would leave the Bills with ~$13 million they can restructure. That would result in a figure of $2.6 million counting in 2026 and the remaining $10.4 million set to count in the future.
