Whether you\u2019re a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs or not, the prospect of Travis Kelce<\/a>\u2019s retirement<\/a> from the NFL has become mainstream news. The three-time Super Bowl <\/a>champion has yet to announce his decision \u2014 even with his contract ending come March.<\/p>\n

The latest person from the Chiefs\u2019 camp to comment on Kelce\u2019s retirement is GM Brett Veach. “I think we\u2019ve kind of taken a different approach with Travis in the sense that I think we\u2019ve kind of prepared for either scenario,\u201d Veach, 48, said in a press conference on Tuesday<\/a>, February 24, per NBC Sports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Coach [Andy Reid<\/a>] had mentioned on Friday<\/a> that he\u2019s had great dialogue with Travis on our end, myself, Chris Shea, Travis\u2019 crew, we\u2019ve had some good dialogue there \u2014 and I\u2019m sure we\u2019re going to see him here just like we will all the other players\u2019 agents and we\u2019ll continue that dialogue,” Veach continued.<\/p>\n

Veach concluded by showing Kelce, 36, some praise for his dedication to the Chiefs over the last 13 years, saying, “Travis is the best, he\u2019s an icon, hopefully he comes back and we\u2019ll just kind of let that process play out.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear exactly when Kelce will share his final decision, but rest assured, it\u2019s coming.<\/p>\n

Though his fianc\u00e9e, Taylor Swift<\/a>, has never publicly commented on the possibility of his retirement, Kelce\u2019s mom, Donna Kelce, has said, \u201cI just want him to do what he feels comfortable doing. He\u2019s gotta talk to people in his life to decide what he wants to do. So I\u2019m not sure. We\u2019ll see what happens!\u201d<\/p>\n
