It\u2019s a well-known fact that the Arizona Cardinals\u2019 offensive line needs help. With a premium on the guard position.<\/p>\n

Free agency can change this. The Cardinals can get a player or two and solve the issue. Then that would free up draft picks to choose other players of need.<\/p>\n

Since Arizona\u2019s offensive line was ranked #26 in the league last year, that tells quite a bit about the situation. Both starting tackles ended up on IR. OG OG Will Hernandez was hurt, then returned, then got injured again. The line ended up with a bunch of backups to finish the season.<\/p>\n

Both guard spots need some help, or perhaps Hernandez can come back healthy.<\/p>\n

The new coach, Mike LaFleur, is an offensive guy. That means that the offensive line has to be a very good group and have a run game to support the passing attack. That means the O-Line needs capable bodies to get the job done.<\/p>\n

The last thing this new offense needs is some developmental linemen struggling to get the job done each Sunday. So, Arizona GM Monti Ossenfort will need to fix the offensive line this offseason and sign some quality talent.<\/p>\n

The front office will need to bring in some new bodies in free agency, which begins March 9.<\/p>\n

Teller would solve the guard position for the Cardinals. He has gone to three Pro Bowls and has All-Pro hardware.<\/p>\n

In 2021, he was the league\u2019s top offensive guard when he inked a four-year, $56.8 million contract that has now expired. The Browns could have extended him before the year was up, and Teller came out and stated he wanted to retire a Brown, but management did nothing.<\/p>\n

So Teller discussed his future with his family and decided he still wants to play, just not in Cleveland any longer. The fact that the Browns did not reach out and give him an extension during the season made up Teller\u2019s mind. Now, he has already said his goodbyes to the Cleveland fanbase and is ready for a new home. Nobody in Cleveland wants to see Teller leave. Nobody. He remains a very good, talented offensive guard who would improve an offensive line from the minute he steps on the field.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Teller is on the wrong side of 30, but he remains a Top-10 talent. Whichever team signs him is getting a very good player, and would solve a lot of interior issues. He had a calf injury late in the year; otherwise, he has been pretty durable.<\/p>\n

He has played in 101 NFL games with 94 starts, so the experience is there. Tough as nails and plays nasty. Cleveland fans love this guy.<\/p>\n

Solid offensive lineman. Block of granite with a broad frame and very good core strength. Very strong with violent hands and an exceptional run blocker. Can get to the second level and knows how to latch onto his defender and remain engaged.<\/p>\n

He is the very sign of stability. He made $1.26 million last year with a cap hit of $12.4 million. Teller should get a decent deal, but not command a high-dollar deal because of his age.<\/p>\n

Mr. Ossenfort, this is a great player for this year\u2019s team at a critical position. Please don\u2019t wait and miss out.<\/p>\n
