However, is he under pressure to make a blockbuster move this offseason to get the Rams over the hump?

In the last three offseasons, Snead has stockpiled the roster with an influx of young talent, which has contributed to the team’s three straight playoff bids since the disaster that was 2022. During that span, L.A. managed to improve the roster because Snead was not recklessly handing out draft picks like Halloween candy.

“F them picks” used to be his mentality, yet now he has gotten a bit too timid when it comes to making a significant move.

Snead’s mentality had to shift to offset the lack of draft capital in the early rounds. Even then, he’s been too quiet in the offseason and at the trade deadline for my taste. Since he acquired Matthew Stafford, Von Miller and Odell Beckham Jr. to spearhead a Super Bowl-winning campaign, here’s the major work Snead’s done each offseason/trade deadline the past four seasons:

Most of the sizable moves made were depth pieces. Wagner and Robinson were big names signed at the time, but were gone within a year, as Snead looked to offload big contracts from the roster. Adams was the other big-name acquisition Snead made, yet he was signed on the backend of his All-Pro-level prime. Although he led the NFL in touchdown receptions this season, which is nothing to sneeze at.

If Snead made any trades in that span, it was to move players like Van Jefferson, Jalen Ramsey, Allen Robinson and Ben Skowronek. In fact, the Rams GM has been remarkably silent at the trade deadline, aside from last year’s addition of McCreary.

It’s been an odd time in Hollywood since winning the big game due to the shift in mentality for Snead and the front office. Of course, the lack of activity there hasn’t been a problem given how well he’s hit in later rounds of the draft.

The Rams were so close to the Super Bowl this season, and will be one of the heavy favorites in 2026 thanks to a championship-caliber roster constructed by Snead. To return there, Snead might be under pressure to make a significant move to help lift the team and propel Los Angeles to its chance at a third Lombardi Trophy.

[2079
7,1014,58,4200,4800,2444,2611,6,424
0":"post-778307","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-los-angeles-rams","8":"tag-football","9":"tag-los-angeles","10":"tag-los-angeles-rams","11":"tag-los-angeles-rams-news","12":"tag-los-angeles-rams-free-agency","13":"tag-losangeles","14":"tag-losangelesrams","15":"tag-nfl","16":"tag-rams
["GET
