The NFL Players Association may no longer be allowed to publish its annual report cards for all 32 NFL teams, but that didn’t stop the results from being revealed. ESPN’s Kalyn Kahler obtained the results<\/a> for every team, and it’s good news for the Washington Commanders<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Remember when Washington owner Josh Harris said he was not an “F- guy<\/a>” in reference to the Commanders<\/a>‘ 2024 results from player surveys in which they finished last in the NFL?<\/p>\n

“I’m not an F-minus guy,” Harris said in 2024, referring to some of the grades the team received. “I didn’t even know you could get an F-minus. Obviously, we’ve jumped all over that; first of all, that report is based on interviews that occurred right around the ownership change. It’s clearly something we’re focused on. In fact, (GM) Adam (Peters) and (head coach) Dan (Quinn) had to leave the NFL meetings briefly to go have a discussion with the architects. We’re trying to make a lot of changes there quickly. The NFL player community is a small community; the NFL coaching community is a small community. We want to be a place that everyone says, ‘That’s a great place to be.’ And therefore, we need to upgrade that facility, and we are upgrading that facility.”<\/p>\n

In 2025, Washington improved from 32nd to 11th. The team made massive jumps across the board.<\/p>\n

In the new NFLPA player survey report cards, the Commanders landed in the top five, finishing No. 3 behind only the Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings. Here’s how Washington fared in every category:<\/p>\n

This is incredibly impressive, and Harris and his partners deserve a ton of credit. One area where you can bet Harris will look to improve now is team travel. Washington earned a B- \u2014 its lowest grade, alongside the defensive coordinator position. The Commanders already moved on from offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury and defensive coordinator Joe Whitt Jr.<\/p>\n

Washington may have finished 5-12 in 2025, but head coach Dan Quinn was one of only two head coaches to earn an A+ grade, alongside Rams coach Sean McVay. That speaks of how Commanders’ players feel about Quinn and is proof that the team never quit on him when things were tough late in the season. Ownership also earned an A+ grade, while GM Adam Peters received an A.<\/p>\n

Believe it or not, less than three years after Harris and his partners purchased the Commanders from Daniel Snyder, Washington is now a model organization. The Commanders hope to prove the 2025 season was an outlier and look to get back on track in 2026.
