During the game, players want a family room so their families can escape the heat and allow mothers to change\/nurse babies. Finally, players want their post-game family area upgraded.<\/p>\n
This has seemingly been addressed, as that “F” has made a massive leap to a “B+” in this year’s report card. Last year, this section put them at 31st in the entire league, or second-to-last; it would appear that the team took these concerns seriously, particularly with the change in team leadership.<\/p>\n
Head Coach<\/p>\n
The other biggest improvement was in head coach. Doug Pedersen oversaw a disappointing 4-13 season, and was fired in January of 2025. Liam Coen was hired as his replacement and quickly turned the franchise around. His improvements evidently were more than just on the field, however, the grade rose from a “C” to an “A-” in the report card.<\/p>\n
In 2024, the worst marks for Pedersen were in listening to player feedback:<\/p>\n
The players felt that Pederson was somewhat receptive to locker room feedback on the team\u2019s needs, ranking him 32 of 32 head coaches in the league.<\/p>\n
It appeared that Coen was well-liked by his players during the season, and the report card cemented that perception into reality.
