This offseason the Minnesota Vikings have plenty of holes to fill<\/a>, a process that really got started this week down in Indianapolis at the NFL scouting combine.<\/p>\n One such spot for the Vikings to consider in later rounds come April may be at fullback, after CJ Ham decided to hang up his cleats after the 2025 season.<\/p>\n Should the Vikings decide that they are going to backfill the role via the draft, J.J. McCarthy apparently has thoughts as to who they should target.<\/p>\n Max Bredeson wants to play for MN Vikings<\/p>\n Max Bredeson was classified as a tight end at Michigan but he mostly operated as a fullback. Bredeson played in 54<\/a> games while catching just 12 passes for 132 yards. He never recorded a rushing attempt.<\/p>\n In high school, Bredeson played quarterback and moved to the fullback position in college. That change clearly shows his athleticism and he has drawn interest from multiple teams during the NFL Combine.<\/p>\n Ranked as the best fullback in this class, it is expected that Bredeson will be taken in the late rounds. His brother, Ben, is a guard for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is however, one of a few teams that has utilized a fullback. With Ham gone, it\u2019s possible that Minnesota abandons that thought process. <\/p>\n If they want to take him, one of their four picks<\/a> in the 6th and 7th round could do the trick.
