While Forbes enters the offseason in good spirits, the business side of the NFL looms. In late February, the league officially established the fifth-year option salaries for the 2023 draft class, placing Forbes in the \u2018Basic\u2019 tier under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.<\/p>\n
The NFL set the cost for Forbes\u2019 2027 option at exactly $12.633 million. This figure is derived from the average of the 3rd to 25th highest salaries at the cornerback position over the prior five seasons.<\/p>\n
