The Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> have decided on their first cap casualty of the 2026 offseason<\/a>.<\/p>\n According to a report from The Athletic’s Mike DeFabo, the Steelers<\/a> are planning to release veteran offensive tackle Calvin Anderson, which would save $2 million of his $2.415 million cap hit this upcoming season.<\/p>\n Signing with the Steelers as a free agent in September 2024, Anderson appeared in four games and quickly emerged as a solid backup offensive tackle.
