According to a recent report from Boston Herald’s Andrew Callahan and Doug Kyed<\/a>, one source described the Eagles’ current asking price as “unserious.” However, other sources do believe Brown could be dealt in a move that’s a “step above” what the Seattle Seahawks got when trading DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers last year.<\/p>\n Seattle ultimately traded Metcalf and a sixth-round draft pick to Pittsburgh for a second-round and a seventh-round draft pick. Callahan and Kyed wrote:<\/p>\n “The Patriots have explored trade talks involving Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Metcalf and a sixth-round pick to Pittsburgh last year for a second-rounder at 52nd overall and a seventh-round pick.”<\/p>\n MassLive’s Karen Guregian and Mark Daniels<\/a> reported that the Patriots are interested in pairing Brown with Stefon Diggs to give the team the outside and slot versatility they’ve lacked for years.
