For some, that news comes as a celebration. It\u2019s an opportunity for the Lions to continue to grow their brand globally, and an opportunity to see the Lions live in an exciting part of the world. For others, it\u2019s an inconvenience and (likely) a loss of a game that would otherwise be played in Ford Field.<\/p>\n

Are you planning on going to watch the Lions in Germany live?<\/p>\n
My answer: Yes, that is absolutely the plan.<\/p>\n
For one, I think it should be a great chance to produce some good content for the site, providing insight into the process of what it\u2019s like for a team to prepare and pull off an international game.<\/p>\n
But more selfishly, I want to travel. I\u2019ve only been to Europe once in my life, and I\u2019m eager for the opportunity to go again. Germany seems like an excellent place to start, but I hope my international travel doesn\u2019t end there. If the Lions get a bye week after their Germany game\u2014like most teams get after an international game\u2014I plan on extending my trip in Europe to some surrounding countries and cities.<\/p>\n
Either way, it\u2019s a chance to experience another culture and experience the world in a new way.<\/p>\n
