The Las Vegas Raiders<\/a> and Buffalo Bills<\/a> are both in the market for wide receiver help this offseason.<\/p>\n

Buffalo has struck out on Keon Coleman and Joshua Palmer, leaving Khalil Shakir and not much else behind him. Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, the Raiders lack a No. 1 target and depth, as the jury is still out on Dont’e Thornton and Jack Bech and veteran Tre Tucker is best suited as a No. 3.<\/p>\n

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler<\/a>, the belief around the league is that the Raiders will have interest in Seattle Seahawks<\/a> wide receiver Rashid Shaheed.<\/p>\n

Like the Raiders, the Bills are also expected to have interest in Shaheed, along with Green Bay Packers<\/a> wideout Romeo Doubs. Buffalo is unlikely to pursue Indianapolis Colts<\/a> wideout Alec Pierce because of their cap situation.<\/p>\n

Rival teams expect Buffalo to strongly address wide receiver in the coming weeks. And multiple league executives are linking\u00a0Rashid Shaheed\u00a0or\u00a0Romeo Doubs\u00a0to the Bills. Alec Pierce will most likely be out of their price range.<\/p>\n

Some around the league are linking Shaheed to the Raiders. The feeling is that Las Vegas likes him a lot, though it will be selective at the position if the money gets too out of hand.<\/p>\n

This sets the stage for a battle between the Raiders and Bills for Shaheed, and maybe even Doubs, who could also be of interest to Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

And make that a three-way battle for Shaheed, as the Seahawks are likely to at least have interest in retaining him. We could also see Seattle getting involved for Doubs should Shaheed land elsewhere.<\/p>\n

Buffalo is working at a huge disadvantage against the Seahawks and Raiders, though.<\/p>\n

That’s because the Raiders and Seahawks are ranked within the top six in cap space<\/a> (Las Vegas has $89 million while Seattle has $59 million) while the Bills still have to get cap compliant, with the team sitting at $6.2 million over.<\/p>\n

If the prices for Doubs and Shaheed get out of hand and the Bills have to compete with the Raiders and the Seahawks, chances are that won’t end well for Buffalo.<\/p>\n
