The Miami Dolphins<\/a> have several players hitting the market this offseason, including their top backup offensive tackle, Larry Borom.<\/p>\n

While Borom will be far from the biggest name on the free agent market when the new league year starts, ESPN’s Dan Graziano and Jeremy Fowler reported<\/a> from the combine that he’s seen as a “top sleeper” in 2026 by NFL execs.<\/p>\n

Miami signed the former fifth-round pick last year after four seasons with the Chicago Bears<\/a>. While he was brought in to be a backup, Borom was thrust into the starting lineup due to Austin Jackson’s toe injury that he suffered in the season opener.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old appeared in 16 games for the Dolphins<\/a> in 2025 and started 11, all at right tackle. Now, according to Graziano and Fowler, he’s set up to earn “low-end starter’s money.<\/p>\n

With Kendrick Lamm, Miami’s other backup tackle, hitting the market as well, new general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan<\/a> and head coach Jeff Hafley have to find some depth for their offensive line either through free agency or the draft.<\/p>\n
