Tennessee football was represented by seven players at the NFL Scouting Combine this week, including breakout wide receiver Chris Brazzell. It was Brazzell\u2019s efforts in the 40-yard dash that took a good bit of the headlines for former Vols.<\/p>\n

Brazzell notched a 4.37 time, which is tied for the ninth-fastest mark among invited wide receivers. That\u2019s good on its own, but even better when you consider he stands at 6-foot-4, putting into perspective the tools that he takes to the next level.<\/p>\n

Currently, Brazzell sits just outside the first round in most mock drafts. However, especially after a strong combine showing, there\u2019s a chance he could slide up into that first round and be one of the first receivers taken.<\/p>\n

Chris Brazzell just ran a 4.37 despite 2 false steps. Could probably clean it up to a 4.30 flat.<\/p>\n

This past season, Brazzell proved to be one of the best pass catchers in the conference. In 12 regular-season games, he posted 1,017 yards and nine touchdowns on 62 receptions.<\/p>\n

Brazzell went over 100 yards four times on the season. His best game was at home against Georgia. In the narrow, last-second loss to the Bulldogs, he caught six passes for 177 yards and three touchdowns.<\/p>\n

This was his second year in Knoxville. He transferred in the year prior and played a role off the bench primarily, but rotated in for his fair share of snaps. His best moment was the late, game-deciding touchdown against Alabama.<\/p>\n

Prior to his time with the Vols, Brazzell played at Tulane. He is from Midland, Texas.<\/p>\n
