It appears Mark Sanchez\u2019s legal troubles aren\u2019t getting any better.<\/p>\n
The former USC and Jets quarterback is facing charges for felony battery and three misdemeanors<\/a> after he got into a fight with truck driver Perry Tole outside an Indianapolis hotel in early October.\u00a0<\/p>\n While the fight resulted in multiple near-fatal stab wounds to the upper right torso for Sanchez, it was reported that he instigated the fight with Tole.<\/p>\n MUGSHOT Mark Sanchez provided by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD). IMPD<\/p>\n Tole, 69, is now accusing Sanchez of possibly being under the influence of cocaine, fentanyl, marijuana and alcohol at the time of the altercation in new legal documents.<\/p>\n According to a report in the Daily Mail<\/a>, Tole\u2019s attorneys say a \u2018preliminary investigation\u2019 has resulted in the belief that Sanchez may have taken \u2018multiple illegal substances\u2019 leading up the altercation.<\/p>\n An unidentified person involved with the stabbing of former quarterback Mark Sanchez is seen in a photo obtained by FOX59. McNeil said in a statement to The Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n Sanchez was in Indianapolis at the time of the incident as he was set to call the Raiders-Colts game the following day. <\/p>\n The fight was allegedly triggered after Sanchez had a problem with Tole\u2019s truck blocking an alley next to the hotel where Sanchez was allegedly running sprints. What began as a disagreement between a 38-year-old former professional athlete and a 69-year-old man should not have escalated into violence or left anyone seriously injured. As with any case, we will follow the facts and the law wherever they lead,\u201d Marion County prosecutor Ryan Mears said.<\/p>\n Former NFL Quarterback and FOX Analyst Mark Sanchez is out of the hospital and was booked into the Marion County Jail this morning.
