Is Mike Evans’ time in Tampa Bay over?<\/p>\n
He’s entering year thirteen.<\/p>\n
He’s still just as strong, just as formidable, just as dangerous.<\/p>\n
But for the first time, there seems to be a question mark of sorts between Tampa Bay and Mike Evans.<\/p>\n
The Bucs front office has made it pretty clear that they still want him back.<\/p>\n
At the same time, they’re also okay with him testing the market and figuring out what works best for him.<\/p>\n
And at this point in his career, frankly, that says a lot.<\/p>\n
Evans, on the other hand, is after another Super Bowl run, and considering Tampa Bay’s run last year, last season, it wasn’t exactly Super Bowl ready.<\/p>\n
With missing the playoffs and a late-season collapse, it doesn’t look like it’s ready to contend for a Super Bowl.<\/p>\n
Even Evans had his own, you know, downfalls last season, and, he had a couple of injuries.<\/p>\n
Despite that, when he was healthy, he was a number one massive downfield presence, and he had amazing chemistry with Baker Mayfield.<\/p>\n
Yes, the injury slowed him down, but his impact is still pretty much over there.<\/p>\n
