Buffalo<\/a> holds the No. 26 overall pick in this year\u2019s draft, and GM Brandon Beane is planning to be aggressive this offseason to create cap room<\/a> and add talent the new coaching staff needs to take the team to the next level.<\/p>\n

The Bills<\/a> have several key positions of need<\/a>, one of which is at wide receiver.<\/p>\n

ESPN\u2019s Jordan Reid believes the team may be in the perfect place to land the type of WR they need.<\/p>\n

The NFL analyst points to where Buffalo is on the board in the first round of the 2026 Draft in April as a prime spot to find a real catch in the passing game.<\/p>\n

\u201cI actually think Buffalo\u2019s in a great spot from a receiver standpoint,\u201d Reid said during an appearance on One Bills Live. \u201cBecause I think that second wave is probably going to start right where they\u2019re picking at the end of the first round.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reid has successfully projected players in the past that the Bills later drafted, like T.J. Sanders and Gabe Davis.<\/p>\n

He highlighted which players could potentially emerge as strong options in the late-first or second round.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think there\u2019s a really good second wave,\u201d going on to mention Washington\u2019s Denzel Boston and Texas A&M\u2019s KC Concepcion, a Rochester, NY native. \u201cBuffalo is in a great spot, even in the second round. I think this is a great draft for those big X, boundary receivers. Somebody that Buffalo is looking for.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reid also touched on Notre Dame\u2019s Malachi Fields and Georgia State\u2019s Ted Hurst as additional options at the position.<\/p>\n

Buffalo has needs at several other key positions as well, notably at edge rusher, linebacker, and safety. Time will tell which position the top talent might fall within range at for them to select or moved up the board for.<\/p>\n

Two of those positions, safety and linebacker, often see slides in the first round, meaning Buffalo could be a beneficiary one way or another.<\/p>\n
