The NFL\u2019s<\/a> new league year is approaching. That means contracts set to expire will make players free agents.<\/p>\n

The New York Giants have limited cap room in 2026, but could easily make a few moves to open up more cash. They have someone in mind.<\/p>\n

The Giants reportedly<\/a> are very interested in Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III. Walker is set to hit free agency after winning the Super Bowl last season in Seattle.<\/p>\n

The Giants drafted Cam Skattebo last year, and he was off to a promising start. A major injury ended his season.<\/p>\n

Walker\u2019s addition could not only create more time for Skattebo to get healthy, but it would also create a strong backfield duo. Head coach John Harbaugh loves having a strong running game with multiple backs involved.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen how this will pan out for the Giants. The Seahawks are actively trying to retain Walker with a long-term deal.<\/p>\n

The closer we get to the new league year, however, the more unlikely this looks. The Giants have their eyes set on the Super Bowl champion and MVP.<\/p>\n
