RAVENS COULD LAND MAXX CROSBY<\/p>\n
The Baltimore Ravens fell just short of winning the AFC North last year. They gave the Steelers a good fight, with the division race coming down to the last game of the regular season. While the Steelers came out on top, both teams made major changes to their coaching staffs this offseason. Still, the Ravens look like they\u2019ll contend for the AFC North title again in 2026.<\/p>\n
They could make a major splash to improve their team, too. NFL insider Albert Breer recently shared<\/a> that the Ravens are keeping tabs on Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby. Crosby is one of the NFL\u2019s best pass rushers, and it sounds like he\u2019ll get traded soon. The Ravens\u2019 defense has struggled recently, but Crosby would instantly upgrade it.<\/p>\n We’re sorry, the video cannot be played with adblocker enabled.<\/p>\n Please disable your adblocker and refresh the page, or go ad-free<\/a>!<\/p>\n TEXANS TRADE FOR MONTGOMERY<\/p>\n While the Steelers don\u2019t know their 2026 schedule yet, they know their opponents.<\/a> They\u2019ll get a chance to avenge their most recent playoff loss, too, as they\u2019ll play the Houston Texans. While the Texans crushed the Steelers in the postseason, Houston didn\u2019t fare as well in the next round. Both teams will be looking to return to the postseason in 2026.<\/p>\n Free agency isn\u2019t here yet, but the Texans have already made a move to improve their roster. NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero reported on Twitter<\/a> that the Texans have traded for Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery. Montgomery has been in the league since 2019, and he\u2019s been a productive player. While he\u2019s worked in a more complementary role recently, he still gives the Texans an upgrade.<\/p>\n BENGALS RE-SIGN OL<\/p>\n The Cincinnati Bengals looked like a playoff team going into the 2025 season. However, they fell short of that goal, mostly due to injuries. Still, they\u2019re the only AFC North team with a returning head coach. Perhaps that will give them an edge in 2026.<\/p>\n One of the Bengals\u2019 biggest issues has been their offensive line, but they\u2019re locking down one piece before free agency opens. They announced on Twitter that<\/a> they\u2019ve re-signed guard Dalton Risner to a one-year deal. Risner was originally a 2019 second-round pick by the Denver Broncos, and he\u2019s a multi-year starter. Last season was his first with the Bengals, and he did enough for them to keep him.<\/p>\n
