The Atlanta Falcons, among scheduled Cincinnati Bengals’ road opponents for 2026<\/a>, announced March 3 via Twitter\/X that they’re playing a game in Madrid<\/a>, Spain.<\/p>\n

The Falcons’ opponent in Spain isn’t known, and could be the Bengals<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It’s the second potential international game option for Cincinnati in 2026, in addition to the Washington Commanders<\/a> hosting a game in London<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With an extra road game on their schedule, it is expected that the Bengals would be the road team in an international matchup, if they get one.<\/p>\n

In February, Bengals receiver Ja’Marr Chase asked in a tweet<\/a> whether the Bengals are getting an international game in 2026.<\/p>\n

Executive vice president Katie Blackburn said in 2025 that the Bengals are expected to be a\u00a0host team for an international game in 2027<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Rumors swirled in 2025 about the Bengals playing the Miami Dolphins\u00a0in Madrid. Despite quarterback\u00a0Joe Burrow’s Instagram plea<\/a>, it did not materialize.<\/p>\n

Confirmed NFL international game matchups for 2026 season<\/p>\n

The San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams are scheduled to meet at Melbourne Cricket Ground in the first regular-season NFL game ever played in Australia.<\/p>\n

The Dallas Cowboys are scheduled to play a TBD opponent at Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in the NFL’s first regular-season game there.<\/p>\n

The New Orleans Saints are scheduled to face a TBD opponent in Paris, France.<\/p>\n

London, England is scheduled to host three regular-season games across the city, with the Commanders as the home team for one of them and the Jacksonville Jaguars playing in the other two.<\/p>\n
