Per Aaron Wilson of KPRC<\/a>, the Texans are expected to add around four offensive linemen in free agency this offseason.<\/p>\n

Houston moved on from Tytus Howard<\/a> and Juice Scruggs<\/a> in deals earlier this week, leaving them with just four offensive linemen under contract for the upcoming season at the moment.<\/p>\n

Wilson mentions the Texans have mutual interest with Browns G Wyatt Teller<\/a>, who is set to hit the open market and announced<\/a> he isn\u2019t returning to Cleveland. Teller is expected to command<\/a> around $10 million annually on the open market.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Wilson says Houston has interest in Colts OT Braden Smith<\/a> and Panthers G\/C Cade Mays<\/a>, and he thinks they will retain OT Trent Brown<\/a> in free agency.<\/p>\n

Teller, 31, is a former fifth-round pick of the Bills back in 2018. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2.7 million contract and set to make base salaries of $570,000 and $660,000 over the next two years of the agreement when the Bills traded him to the Browns coming out of the preseason in 2019.<\/p>\n

The Browns signed Teller to a four-year extension worth $56.8 million back in November of 2021. He was due base salaries of $1.5 million and $2.8 million in the final two years of the deal.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He is set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2026.<\/p>\n

In 2025, Teller appeared in and started 13 games for the Browns at right guard.<\/p>\n

Smith, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Colts back in 2018. He was entering the final year of his four-year, $7,193,688 rookie contract that included a $3,311,772 signing bonus when he signed a four-year, $70 million extension.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In 2025, Smith appeared in 13 games for the Colts making 1 starts at right tackle.\u00a0<\/p>\n
