Denver could be the place for him as Bo Nix continues on his rookie deal. One other place I could see him in is Jacksonville. The Jaguars are parting with Etienne and are happy with Bhayshul Tuten. But certain positions still need addressing. But Lloyd looks destined to get out of Jacksonville, where a competition for his services might propel him to the third- or maybe even second-biggest linebacker contract. At only 27, he\u2019s coming off a career season \u2014 tied for the second-most interceptions (five) and with 1.5 sacks. It would be a welcome change after sitting on their hands last year after extending Ja\u2019Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Several teams, including the Panthers, Bengals and Cowboys, have a desperate need for a playmaker like Lloyd. Montgomery does not have megastar explosive juice, but he finished 12th in the NFL in rush yards over expected per attempt. The Lions prepared him for his Texans experience by giving him such horrific interior blocking in 2025 that he had the 12th-worst expected yards per carry.
