Even with George Pickens franchise-tagged by the Cowboys<\/a>, plenty of field-stretchers will hit the veteran open market this offseason.<\/p>\n

With Pickens available only via a trade with Dallas and Tyreek Hill being a massive injury risk to take after his fast fade in Miami, here’s looking at the best options for teams to upgrade wide receiver in March:<\/p>\n

NFL free agent WR rankings 2026\"\"1. Alec Pierce, Colts (age: 25)<\/p>\n

Pierce enjoyed a big season as a downfield threat with 1,003 yards on only 44 receptions, leading the league in yards per catch (21.3) for a second straight year. He developed better as an intermediate threat along way, getting his best QB option in Daniel Jones. He has a chance to return with Jones coming back, but Pierce’s youth and size (6-3, 211 pounds) says he can cash in big-time in a Pickens-less market.<\/p>\n

2. Mike Evans, Buccaneers (age: 32)<\/p>\n

Evans seemed like he would only extend his career staying in Tampa Bay, but he wants to explore playing for a better playoff contender with San Francisco emerging as a top suitor. The future Hall of Famer still has plenty left as a vertical threat and big-bodied red zone force.<\/p>\n

3. Jauan Jennings, 49ers (age: 26)<\/p>\n

Jennings is known for being a route-running star with good hands and has kept delivering in their offense to help them overcome a rash of injuries at the position. He can fit anywhere but his savvy would be felt most on a younger, needy offense.<\/p>\n

\"\"4. Rashid Shaheed, Seahawks (age: 27)<\/p>\n

Shaheed was a valuable midseason trade pickup from the Saints<\/a> with his speed becoming a huge asset as a return man and versatile big playmaker. He would be a good fit with the Bills<\/a> and is an option to follow Klint Kubiak to Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

5. Wan’Dale Robinson, Giants (age: 25)<\/p>\n

Robinson was the anti-Pierce as the 5-8, 185-pound slot dynamo, needing 92 catches to post his 1,014-yard season, averaging 11 yards per catch. As the Giants<\/a> are looking to more of a speedy outside threat to complement Malik Nabers, Robinson might be a good inside candidate for Brian Daboll and the Titans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

6. Romeo Doubs, Packers (age: 25)<\/p>\n

Doubs is in the Jennings vein as a smooth, good-hands route runner with skills made to help a team in the red zone. Watch out for an Aaron Rodgers reunion with the Steelers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"7. Deebo Samuel, Commanders (age: 29)<\/p>\n

Samuel’s past wear and tear from San Francisco manifested in Washington after some high hopes and it didn’t help that Jayden Daniels also got hurt. He could find a spot in many offenses with ties to the Kyle Shanahan tree.<\/p>\n

8. Christian Kirk, Texans (age: 29)<\/p>\n

The former top slot of the Cardinals<\/a> and Jaguars<\/a> was valuable at times in that short-area for C.J. Stroud and should get looks inside after Robinson.<\/p>\n

9. Jalen Nailor, Vikings (age: 27)<\/p>\n

Nailor has flashed with some chunk gains and a nose for the end zone but has been limited on their depth chart behind Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. He’s a sneaky pickup for another Sean McVay adjacent offense.<\/p>\n

10. Keenan Allen, Chargers (age: 33)<\/p>\n

Allen wants to keep playing and after one year in Chicago, he showed how much he preferred playing big slot in Los Angeles.
