We\u2019re beginning to learn more about Maxx Crosby\u2019s rocky relationship with the Raiders, and it appears that there was some friction with Tom Brady\u2019s personal guru and business partner, Alex Guerrero.<\/p>\n
Two weeks ago, Fox Sports\u2019 Jay Glazer reported that Crosby was \u201cdone\u201d with the Raiders after a disappointing season.<\/p>\n
According to a new report from The Athletic\u2019s Mike Silver, Crosby has \u201cexhausted all efforts\u201d in Las Vegas and wants out.<\/p>\n
Crosby hasn\u2019t made a stink publicly, partly because of his deep affection for the Raiders\u2019 fan base, but it\u2019s clear that he has exhausted all efforts in Vegas.<\/p>\n
Silver goes on to report that Brady\u2019s longtime confidante and trainer, Alex Guerrero, \u201cfrustrated\u201d Crosby and other players with his behind-the-scenes role.<\/p>\n
Guerrero, who regularly attends practices and meetings, purports to possess significant organizational power, informing players of impending transactions and even indicating to staff members who don\u2019t follow his instructions that their jobs may be at risk.<\/p>\n
Guerrero is perceived to have a direct pipeline to Brady, who lives in Florida and serves as Fox\u2019s lead NFL analyst, limiting his in-person presence. Suffice it to say that there are trust issues permeating the Raiders\u2019 training facility in Henderson, Nev.<\/p>\n
This isn\u2019t the first time Guerrero has allegedly caused drama in a locker room. Back in 2019, it was reported that Bill Belichick had banned Guerrero from treating other players on the team, citing concerns that he was overstepping his boundaries.<\/p>\n
