The NFL Combine came to a close on Sunday and prospects saw their stocks rise and fall.<\/p>\n

For the Broncos \u2014 as well as the other 31 NFL teams \u2014 it gave them a chance to zero in on who they want to target at the draft next month where Denver has the 30th overall pick in the first round.<\/p>\n

“This is a pick I had in the first mock draft, too, and unless a guy like C.J. Allen falls, I may keep it. Hill is an explosive linebacker who fits well with a Denver defense that loves to fly around and hit people. “Getting more offensive playmakers for quarterback Bo Nix might be an option here, but the Broncos could use this pick to make their already-stout defense even stronger. Toledo has turned into a Group of 5 defensive factory (see: Quinyon Mitchell, 2024), and McNeil-Warren is the next prospect up. He would bring a diverse skill set to the Broncos’ secondary, with his 20% defensive completion percentage allowed being the best among all FBS defensive backs last season,” Reid writes. “Another pass rusher for the Broncos because that\u2019s what we do with teams at the bottom of a mock draft. Mesidor showed he can put heat on the quarterback on the edge and the interior of Miami\u2019s defensive line, registering 12.5 sacks in the Hurricanes\u2019 run to the national championship game. Pro Football Focus gave him a 92.5 pass rush grade, which is third among edge rushers. His PFF run defense score was 88.3, which ranked in the 91st percentile,” McDonald writes. “As crazy as Kenyon Sadiq\u2019s combine performance was, Stowers\u2019 was even better in some ways. He jumped an astounding 45.5 inches in the vertical with an 11-foot-3 broad, both better than Sadiq\u2019s numbers. He won\u2019t bring much in the blocking game, but as a true big receiver with a ton of athletic versatility, he would be a perfect fit in Denver,” Sikkema writes.
