Getting him at the minimum for a year would make sense for a team carrying all the Tua Tagovailoa money into 2026 (after presumably cutting him). During his seven seasons in Arizona, Murray completed 67.1% of his passes for 20,460 yards, 121 touchdowns, and 60 interceptions. He also added 532 carries for 3,193 yards and 32 touchdowns \u2014 a true duel-threat quarterback, who, despite his recent ups and downs, still has the ability to be a game-changer in this league.<\/p>\n
As mentioned, Murray will likely play for the league minimum this upcoming season, for a team of his choosing.<\/p>\n
Could that be the Dolphins?<\/p>\n
I know it feels like a lifetime ago, but there was once a time I was very fond of Murray and had hoped \u2014 somehow, someway \u2014 he\u2019d end up in Miami. I\u2019m not so sure that\u2019s what\u2019s best for the 28-year-old QB to regain his footing, but if things fall through with Minnesota and New York, he could be the best value for a team looking to stay afloat amid a shit-storm of dead cap space.<\/p>\n
