The Chicago Bears<\/a> have a major decision to make when it comes to making a trade for Las Vegas Raiders<\/a> star pass rusher Maxx Crosby.<\/a><\/p>\n According to Jason Fitzgerald<\/a> of OvertheCap.com, with the Bears\u2019 releasing Tremaine Edmunds<\/a>, the DJ Moore<\/a> trade, and Drew Dalman<\/a> retiring, Chicago will be up around $33 million in cap room, which would rank 12th in the NFL<\/a>.<\/p>\n This makes a trade for Crosby more suitable, but the Raiders, according to multiple reports,<\/a> have not lowered their asking price of two first-round picks and an additional player.<\/p>\n It\u2019s hard to imagine, even with additional cap room and an extra second-round pick from the Moore trade, that the Bears would leverage their future on a soon-to-be 29-year-old pass rusher. And according to NFL insider Dianna Russini, it appears that the Bears have backed out of the Crosby trade race.<\/p>\n Fear Less. Do More. \ud83e\udd85\ud83d\udc8e<\/p>\n Bears Not Listed as Maxx Crosby Trade Rumors Intensify<\/p>\n In her latest update, Russini lists<\/a> two teams in the mix for Crosby while leaving the Bears out.<\/p>\n \u201cMaxx Crosby is drawing serious interest around the league. The Dallas Cowboys<\/a> are closely monitoring the situation and remain very interested, while the Baltimore Ravens<\/a> are also a team to watch. GMs believe the Las Vegas Raiders are willing to work on a deal.\u201d<\/p>\n No mention of Chicago. It\u2019s one thing for the Bears to be interested in Crosby and keep tabs on him, as NFL insider Albert Breer alluded to,<\/a> but Chicago likely will redirect their attention to addressing the developing situation at center.<\/p>\n Bears Main Focus Shifting? GettyTyler Linderbaum #64 of the Baltimore Ravens looks on prior to a game against the Buffalo Bills<\/a>.<\/p>\n Tyler Biadasz<\/a> signed a three-year, $30 million deal<\/a> with the Los Angeles Chargers<\/a> on Friday, which gives the Bears one less option in an already-thin center market.<\/p>\n Breer mentioned<\/a> after the news of Moore\u2019s trade broke to \u201cstay tuned\u201d with the Bears\u2019 interest in Crosby and highly coveted free-agent center Tyler Linderbaum,<\/a> but even with a major boost in cap space, Chicago will likely have to choose between Crosby or Linderbaum.<\/p>\n Now, with the fact that Russini did not mention the Bears in her latest update, it appears Chicago will redirect their focus on attempting to sign Linderbaum during free agency, or at least another starting-caliber center.<\/p>\n ESPN\u2019s Courtney Cronin wrote<\/a> that she expects the Bears to sign a veteran center:<\/p>\n \u201cDalman\u2019s retirement is a significant blow to the Bears\u2019 O-line, which has aimed to stop the revolving door at center that has occurred for years.
