Anyway, I’ve probably seen you a whole bunch of times
this year because I was on the sidelines a lot.<\/p>\n

So I don’t want to be a cheerleader, but it’s
fun to watch your.<\/p>\n

I don’t know much going on to anyway, enough, keep
going the Broncos cheerleaders encouraging talented dancers. Maybe not Ross,
but so many people from different communities and backgrounds to
audition to be the twenty twenty six Denver Broncos cheerleaders.
So joining us in the ka Comments Bear at Health
Studio today is Sydney V and Ariana E. Both Broncos
cheerleaders and their Broncos gear with their pom poms. Ladies,<\/p>\n

Good morning, thanks for joining us on the snowy day
I feel bad that you Is this your winter outfit?
If it’s a snow you have more that you could
put on if you need it to write, we.<\/p>\n
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Have many more. This isn’t our you.<\/p>\n
Speaker 5 (01:05):
Know, snow gear, but we wanted to make sure we’re
inside so good.<\/p>\n
Speaker 4 (01:08):
We have other good.<\/p>\n
Speaker 1 (01:09):
Well, you both look fabulous and Ariana. When we started
the conversation off the year, I was asking you, guys,
I learned something completely new when it comes to just
being an NFL cheerleader in general. I was like, how
many people are you guys looking for for next year?<\/p>\n
Speaker 2 (01:22):
And you were like.<\/p>\n
Speaker 1 (01:23):
Everyone, everybody is on the hook when it comes to
just auditioning and re auditioning again, absolutely, so.<\/p>\n
Speaker 5 (01:30):
It’s all you know, everybody starts at the same plane
fills so we usually take twenty eight women, but everybody
has the opportunity to come. We continue to raise the bar.
Even if you were on the team last year, you
will be re auditioning. That’s just how we continue to
level up and keep everybody on their toes and again
raise that bar.<\/p>\n
Speaker 2 (01:49):
How long it both have you been with the Denver Broncos.
I just wrapped up my fifth season on the team.<\/p>\n
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Incredible, and I just wrapped up my third What has
been maybe the most memorable Sydney will start with you.
What has been maybe the most men or exciting part
about being a Broncos cheerleader.<\/p>\n
Speaker 6 (02:03):
I think it’s the moment you walk out onto the
field on game day and you look around and really
take in the fact that you’re a part of something
that’s just so much bigger than yourself, and getting to
experience the excitement of a football game with all of
Broncos country.<\/p>\n
Speaker 2 (02:19):
It is the most fulfilling and exciting thing.<\/p>\n
Speaker 3 (02:22):
How much do you watch the games and are you
just kind of are you a little too busy?<\/p>\n
Speaker 4 (02:28):
Are you huge fans?<\/p>\n
Speaker 6 (02:30):
All that watch one hundred percent of the game, So
when we’re on the field, really important to watch the
players in case they start to run at you.<\/p>\n
Speaker 2 (02:37):
You don’t want to get tackled.<\/p>\n
Speaker 6 (02:39):
But truthfully, even during away games, we’re usually either working
a watch party or we’re all hanging out together watching
them together. And I get so excited when the Broncos play.
I’m one of the most insufferable people to watch a
Broncos which, as I am yelling at my.<\/p>\n
Speaker 1 (02:55):
TV, you’re speaking to the choir n k away for
some I A lot of people are like complete agree
with that.<\/p>\n
Speaker 5 (03:00):
Yes, and fun fact, actually, if you are planning to
try out for our team, we do pride ourselves on
being very football savvy.<\/p>\n
Speaker 2 (03:07):
So there is a football test that is.<\/p>\n
Speaker 5 (03:09):
Required for you to be able to become a Denver
Broncos cheerleader. So not only are we on those sidelines,
but we are very well educated on the game. That’s
how we are able to connect with the Broncos community,
and it’s very important for us.<\/p>\n
Speaker 2 (03:22):
To know what’s going on, so we’re cheering at the
right time.<\/p>\n
Speaker 1 (03:24):
Absolutely so, Sidney, you mentioned walking out onto the field
as one of the most exciting moments. To me, that’s
the most intimidating moment the times that I have been
on the sideline for press. So, Ariana, what would you
say of like, is there still a little bit of
the nerves of being like, there’s a lot of people
in this stadium right now.<\/p>\n
Speaker 5 (03:42):
Absolutely, I mean it fits over seventy four thousand people.<\/p>\n
Speaker 2 (03:45):
So we’ve always been told.<\/p>\n
Speaker 5 (03:47):
Even if not all seventy four thousand are looking at you,
even a fraction of that, even if it’s twenty thousand,
their eyes are on you at least one point throughout
that game. So it is very intimidating, but it’s also
such an impactful feeling to know that you can make
an impact on someone just at the game, being able
to connect with them, having that moment and hopefully inspiring
them to, you know, fulfill the stream someday themselves.<\/p>\n
Speaker 3 (04:08):
And I’ll just tell listeners because I don’t think we

So what are what are the top things you need
to make it?<\/p>\n
Speaker 3 (04:24):
I mean, clearly, you gotta be you gotta be a
good athlete, you gotta like football.<\/p>\n

You gotta you gotta be willing and able to smile
a lot.<\/p>\n
Speaker 3 (04:31):
You guys are always smiling right even now, but on
the field you’re always smiling.<\/p>\n
Speaker 1 (04:35):
So we put together, I mean radio today, you guys
could have just walked in said you looked.<\/p>\n
Speaker 2 (04:42):
Great, no one would have known.<\/p>\n
Speaker 4 (04:44):
So.<\/p>\n

So, but what are the top things If someone’s thinking
about it, what do they need to have?<\/p>\n
Speaker 4 (04:48):
Sort of basic requirements.<\/p>\n
Speaker 6 (04:50):
One thing our team really prides ourself on is that
every woman that’s a part of our team is a
very well rounded woman. So yes, we are great dancers
and we all train our whole lives to be dancers.
But outside of that, we do a business interview, which
is a big part of the audition process. Are you
mentioned the football test. We also do a little bit
of public speaking just in front of the judges.<\/p>\n
Speaker 2 (05:11):
So I think the main things you.<\/p>\n
Speaker 6 (05:12):
Want to look for are obviously a great dancer, someone
who can talk to anyone and can thrive in that
business environment. We love people who are very passionate and
very strong willed, who excel in their careers outside of dance,
and of course being football savvy.<\/p>\n
Speaker 2 (05:29):
Okay, a couple questions out of that.<\/p>\n
Speaker 1 (05:31):
Are you two more from a cheerleading background or a
dance background or both both?<\/p>\n
Speaker 5 (05:36):
I mean, I know Sid came actually from more of
a ballerina background, which is dance. However, there are very
many different backgrounds even when it comes to the dance style.
So we always like to encourage people no matter what
background you come from, to still continue to follow your
dreams because you know, even if you were a cheerleader
prior or gymnast dancer, you should still go for it,<\/p>\n
(05:57):
and you said excel in your career as well.<\/p>\n
Speaker 1 (05:59):
Is is this the career or do people also work
other positions or like to do other things outside of
the Denver Absolutely.<\/p>\n
Speaker 5 (06:07):
So that’s actually a lot of our fun facts about ourselves.<\/p>\n
Speaker 2 (06:09):
Is this is more our fun job.<\/p>\n
Speaker 5 (06:11):
We like to say, this is the more you know
sparkly side. We get to continue to do our passion.
But all of us do have full time jobs. So
we have you know, marketing directors, and we have nurses,
and we have attorneys, so we’re a very well rounded team.
And then those people who haven’t maybe found their career yet,
they’re either in school, getting their masters, those sort of things.<\/p>\n
Speaker 4 (06:31):
So last last.<\/p>\n
Speaker 3 (06:33):
Year, we had a couple of your your colleagues on
One is an accountant and you probably know who I’m
talking about because I saw her on the sidelines this year.
And one who I also saw on the sidelines this
year owns a hair salon I think down by a
Rappa Ho maybe, And I’m sure you know who I’m
talking about there too, because i think I saw her
on the sideline again this year. So I mean, if<\/p>\n
(06:55):
you wouldn’t mind telling us, like, what do you do
for your for your other job.<\/p>\n
Speaker 6 (06:59):
Yeah, I’m a transmission line engineer, so I design power
lines and all of the structures that support them.<\/p>\n
Speaker 3 (07:05):
So you have a degree in electrical engineering orchanical engineering.<\/p>\n
Speaker 4 (07:10):
Wow, okay, excellent. Smarter than I am.<\/p>\n
Speaker 2 (07:12):
Yes, and then mine’s actually very fun. I always like
to say.<\/p>\n
Speaker 5 (07:15):
It’s like the you know, fun party side to everything.
But I am a marketing director for a tequila company.<\/p>\n
Speaker 4 (07:21):
Oh did I see you at at burn Down?<\/p>\n

You sure did. Yeah, we did some fun things with
you all last.<\/p>\n

need to know if they want to be a part

So tomorrow’s audition workshop will consist of some dancing. You’ll
learn a combo from one of our coaches, and you’ll
get to go across the floor. You’ll do a little
bit of technique as well as some stylized dancing. Is
there anything else I’m missaying?<\/p>\n
Speaker 5 (08:03):
And then this is also going to be a great
time for them to really grasp the DBC style.<\/p>\n
Speaker 2 (08:08):
So again we will have both of our choreographers there.<\/p>\n
Speaker 5 (08:11):
Learning from them, being able to ask those questions to
help them better prepare and kind of get those nerves
out before they truly.<\/p>\n
Speaker 2 (08:17):
Are in that full audition mode.<\/p>\n

I got one quick follow up for you.<\/p>\n

Has there been any talk at Denver Broncos cheerleaders about
having men that you know of?<\/p>\n
Speaker 5 (08:28):
We were just talking about this actually before this not
this year, but you never know. Obviously, it kind of
just depends on who show up to make sure there’s
maybe two or three teams that have them.<\/p>\n
Speaker 4 (08:37):
In the NFL or something.<\/p>\n
Speaker 2 (08:38):
That’s the beauty of the NFL.<\/p>\n
Speaker 5 (08:39):
There are so many teams that do allow that space
for them. That’s so great. Again, we are open to it.
We never know what’s going to happen at trouts. If
they show up, We’re never going to say no. If
they show up and they have those requirements, absolutely so
it’s never a no.<\/p>\n
