The deal cannot become official until Wednesday&#8217;s start of the new league year.<\/p>\n<p>Dalman surprisingly <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nfl.com\/news\/bears-pro-bowl-center-drew-dalman-expected-to-retire-after-five-nfl-seasons\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">announced his retirement<\/a> on Tuesday. Bears general manager Ryan Poles moved swiftly to find his replacement, working out a trade on the same day that Dalman was officially placed on the reserve\/retired list.
