An NFL divorce just came with a hefty price tag. Ben Cleveland, now with the Los Angeles Chargers, has agreed to pay his estranged wife $550,000 as part of a divorce settlement, according to court documents filed in Georgia.<\/p>\n

The agreement, reached in late January, is designed to finalize Cleveland’s split from Kaitlyn Terrell Cleveland. As part of the deal, Cleveland will make a lump-sum payment<\/a> that also covers the remaining balance on a 2024 Land Rover that his ex will keep.<\/p>\n

In return, Kaitlyn agreed to give up claims to certain real estate the couple owned together.<\/p>\n

The paperwork outlines several other details as the two untangle their lives. Cleveland will retain two Georgia properties, while Kaitlyn agreed to return some of his personal items, including a firearm and a thermal scope. Meanwhile, Cleveland gave up rights to various household items such as furniture, rugs and kitchen supplies.<\/p>\n

The agreement also includes a mutual non-disparagement clause. Both sides agreed not to criticize each other publicly or post about one another on social media.<\/p>\n

The divorce proceedings began in February 2025 after Cleveland filed paperwork citing adultery. Kaitlyn later denied those claims in court.<\/p>\n

A judge still needs to formally approve the settlement, though Cleveland recently filed a motion asking the court to speed up the process.<\/p>\n
